Vulcain 18ct Rose Gold Full Hunter Minute Repeating Automaton Pocket Watch C1880

Case: The Swiss hallmarked highley hand engraved case with scrolls garlands flowers and vacant cartouche. The engraved case shows no signs of wear and is in NOS condition. The inner cuvette signed Vulcain and  showing all the Medals of Honour won in Paris Chicago and Geneve in 1889, 1893 and 1896 respectively, also with a full description of the movement.

Dial: The beautiful dial with red guilloche enamel and gold arabic numerals with fleur de lis hands and sub second dial. The automaton are two knights in full body armour holding swords and each holding a hammer to strike the bells when the watch chimes.

Movement: The excellent condition fully jewelled Swiss lever movement with micrometer regulation and spiral Breguet hair spring. The hammers striking the hours quarters and minutes on gongs.

This watch is an exceptional piece to own because of it's condition and rarity.
