Rolex Rare Oysterquartz Day-Date Octopus 19168

One of the rarest Diamond Day-Dates to be produced in the 1980s and coined the Octopus. This Oysterquartz model is a prestigious timepiece which was crafted in 18k yellow gold by Rolex and features a solid gold dial with applied rub-over diamond hour markers and a fixed yellow gold bezel set with 28 baguette-cut diamonds.

Featuring a unique 18k yellow gold Oysterquartz bracelet with a deployant clasp. The bracelet is set with 52 round rub-over set diamonds and 24 baguette-cut diamonds. The rub-over diamonds rise prominently above the links, creating a familiar image of suction cups of an Octopus' tentacles, thus establishing its' iconic yet charming nickname, used by collectors.

Fitted with a sapphire glass and is powered by a quartz movement.

This recently serviced piece by Rolex, comes with a Rolex box and service papers dated June 2022, ensuring the watch is covered under the Rolex service guarantee until June 2024.
